HaPpY NeW yEaR!

I haven't blogged in quite a while...the past couple of months here at bounce! have been happily chaotic! Mix that with my 'mummy' duties and a few social occasions for myself......WELL obviously my poor old blog got relegated to the bottom of the list. :(

So before the year AND the DECADE ends (where has it gone???) I thought I would finish with a nice LOOOOONG post to show you some of the past few months at bounce! photography.

A big BIG Thank You to all of my WONDERFUL CLIENTS, without you none of this would be possible! And a BIG Thank You to my children, friends and family for your support and understanding.

bounce! has grown considerably over the past two years, in particular the last 12 months and I am so very grateful to be succeeding in something I LOVE doing.

One exciting announcement for 2010 is that I will be hiring an assistant to help me with some of the admin side of bounce! so I can concentrate more on shooting and editing and be available for more sessions - YAY!!!
( Hopefully I will be more vigilant with my blogging too...hehehehe)

I have lots of ideas for the New Year and will be holding regular promotions. I am also introducing one very special promotion twice yearly, where bounce! Photography will 'pay it forward' to deserving families with complimentary sessions and collections. More on that as the time arises. :-)

It's all very EXCITING, so be sure to keep checking in OFTEN.

A little while ago I mentioned that I was giving myself a personal creativity challenge where I had to take at least one image every day in October to celebrate the ordinary. Well I must adnit I have been VERY busy and I have missed the last two days, but up until then I have been pulling my camera out EVERY day, and getting to know it all over again.....It's been great and I thought I would share a few images from the celebration of 'Our ordinary', little snippets of our life, what a fun way for me to record some simple ordinary moments in time. Thanks for having a squizz. :)

I though it was time to 'show off' my own two gorgeous kiddies. Recently I took them into our yard to 'have a play' with some of my new equipment. Normally they will NOT let mummy take nice photos of them, but they were loving being my little models with the flash and brolly I was using. hahahahaha
I can't wait to get them to model for me again SOON, in the meantime here is a quick little look at the two people I am most proud of in this world. they truly are my sunshine in every day!!!! I love you Boo and Haydee. xoxoxoxox

I had the joy of photographing them about a week and a half ago, and I really enjoyed my time with them. K and A , Thank you. A recent family shoot.

I recently met a gorgeous family from Mt Isa. Mum 'K' was coming to Brisbane to visit her family and luckily for me, she stumbled across my website and booked me to do some family portraits for her, including capturing some very special images of the 4 Generations of women in her family. From Great Grandmother down to Great Grandchildren. I was truly thrilled to be able to capture this special moment in this warm, friendly and FUN family.
Thanks so much 'K' it was so lovely to meet you. It's just a shame you don't live closer as I think we could have become quite good friends. Really had a ball meeting you all.

Another family with 5 lovely kids....

Quite a few weeks ago, I enjoyed yet another session with one of my favourite clients - the 'T' family. I have had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family many times now, and always look forward to our sessions. Special thanks to dad - 'A' for finding me this gorgeous location, just up the hill from where I had planned to shoot. I had to follow him up the 4wd track to get there, but it was SO worth it. The light in here is stunning! Thanks again 'A'. :-)
